A basic website for a small business usually does not involve copy writing or brand design, however it is possible to include these services which increases the time required by one to two days normally.
Shops or other more complex websites require a fair amount of extra care and attention, especially optimising the site for search engines (and human visitors). This extends the time frame as well as making it necessary to use or even produce a CMS different to one needed by a small site. If branding or copy writing services are requested, perhaps even photography and video production, the total time frame can more likely be expected at 10-14 days.
“Enterprise” level sites are usually bigger, longer term projects which include Intranet or Internet Application sites and live video streaming projects. The website is usually part of an overall project package and time/cost is simply shown for guidance as it very much depends on what else is required besides design and implementation. At this level hosting can also be provided, however usually at an extra charge instead of being offered freely. You will normally require your own dedicated server, starting from around £200 per month including comprehensive management.
